Lady Gaga’s collaboration with Beyonce, “Telephone,” has gotten the cut. First because 9 minute plus video was too long for airing. Second, MTV has allegedly banned the video because it was too suggestive. This is the same channel that permits homophobic and sexist videos to air. But a little female empowerment in pop is not OK. It’s funny how MTV thinks it still has a clout in what shapes the pop world. At any rate, this is the shorter version.
UAE designer Qasimi has gone and done it again. He dressed it-girl Florence Welch for her new video “Dog Day Are Over” from the highly successful and award-winning album Lungs. The new video can be viewed here.
Lady GaGa has been busy busy busy. She went out on stage recently and looked like she was uninterested in putting on a show. She needs a vacation somewhere in the tropics. Maybe Langkawi or Maldives where she can be by herself and rejuvenate.

Robyn’s new release in 2010 will be here before the summer as she says in the documentary and it will be dance-oriented. This little documentary made for Swedish TV shows you how much effort she puts into her pop world. Everything from the mixing to the logo to the photography to the song choice and lyrics is up to her choice. She even listen to the songs on car speakers to make sure fans get the quality they deserve. Now, that’s passion. We can’t wait for the album as she released one of the greatest albums in pop history last time around. Click below for the rest of the documentary.
Social City is a new kind of level-up game. In this Facebook application, you are the mayor or some grass and you have to turn into a swinging metropolis. You have to also expand the population by both building accommodation and creating leisure places (a things some corners of the world haven’t figured out yet). The application is very addictive and time-consuming. Caution is advised! Click to add it.
