Sade is .. basically LOVE/Soul/Euphoria/Butterfly. I Love her.
I remember the first time I watched the music video for “No Ordinary Love”, I was merely ten years old and had little knowledge about “foreign music” or good taste in music for that matter. I was memorized by how beautiful she was in the video. The melody of the song struck a chord in me that no other song did at the time. The plot of the video was heartbreaking. I was dumbstruck by how amazing the “under the sea” setting looked in the video. it was unlike anything I had ever seen.
5 years later from when I watched No Ordinary Love, and forgot about the song, my older brother comes back home one day with a cassette tape called “Lovers Rock”. He made me listen to “By Your Side” and I LOVED IT! I remember my brother and I playing that tape non-stop, while were playing RPG video games, while sleeping, and while we studied. After that, everybody at my house knew the lyrics to “By Your Side” by heart from how much we played it. I did not realize that “No Ordinary Love” was HER song. Not until I was searching to hear some more material from Sade had I found out it was her! I came across all her previous albums and fell in love with her even more. I also remember buying her “Lovers Live” DVD in London, and watching it with my mom who is a big Sade fan as well.
While I’m studying abroad, away from my family, Sade’s music (especially the “Lovers Rock” album) makes me feel close to my family. It reminds of my childhood and my teenage years. Her music has also made me a person who loves unconditionally and won’t give up on love no matter how bad a heartbreak I experience. I’m so grateful that she came up with a new album. I’m currently hooked on “Babyfather”, it is the song I listen to whenever I cook. haha! Anyhooo Sade’s music will always be in my life wherever I go. Listening to her after a long day makes everything seem better.
And BTW, did I mention how AWESOME your blog is? (I figured a bit of ass kissing wouldn’t hurt) XD

It has been many years that i am a huge fan of Sade. I am only 23 but since i am 10 years old i am in love with the “Perfect Sade”. Her voice and her music are amazing, it’s relaxing, it’s grooving and it’s beautiful. She sings “life” and it’s magic. Sade is different from all the others diva, she is perfect because she is talented, she is extremely good looking, she is secret and above everything she is humble. I love your band and you Sade.
