Whitney Houston needs to stop putting down other people. She must be referring to Lady Gaga when she talked about the costumes. What exactly is “being dark?” It’s nice to sing love songs and stand out there with a grand voice, but also having fun and putting on a show is a form of artistry. Maybe if she put on a show and did some fun costuming people wouldn’t be leaving her concerts.

You need to shut the hell up! She did not criticize lady gaga, I’ve watched that clip 2xs and i would like for you to point out by the time mark where she specifically called out lady gaga. In fact, she said she is not talking about anyone specifically.
i got the feeling that she was talking in general and giving her opinion which he last time i checked, 30yrs in the music industry afforded her that right!
She played to over 50k people in Australia and perhaps 300 people walked out but of course the media and you wouldn’t report that because u just listened to the media reports of the first 2 shows and didn’t look at the facts.
Whitney is a legend and I happen to agree with everything that she said! You don’t have to agree with it but it’s her opinion!
Just like she does have a right to her opinion, I have the right to not shut the hell up, sweetie. She is obviously citing gaga. Who else does that costume look and is popular now? And, 300 people walking out (although I don’t think you have the right numbers because that looks pretty rounded up) is a big deal for someone who is supposed to be that great. Her new album is a stinker and everyone knows it.
How will Gaga sustain her career? Not hating on her or anything, I’m just genuinely wondering, cause even I (know to belt a few Gaga tunes) is getting bored …
Gaga understand pop and the persona she is creating is one to grow with her career. The songs are dance floor fillers. People will always look to her new music.
Her new album is absolutely not a stinker!!! It’s great and critics were good. I’m a huge Whitney-fan and I absolutely don’t aprove her drug-addict but I don’t think she thought; you know what? Let’s become an addict!
I believe the lives of huge stars are heavy, espacially with personal pain. So, no wonder that many stars become drug-addicts. Let’s give this woman a break and be glad for herself, her family, friends and fans she is still alive. Everybody deserves a second chance, especially this woman after what she gave the world. She ruined the special part of her voice but still is far more talented then most stars. She’s still got it and still got a lot of fans. Let’s see this as a lesson, like we did with Micheal Jackson and let’s not ruin another very special star. Why do most of us love the negativity more than the positivity?

Ok, she’s OBVIOUSLY referring to Gaga. Basically, what I hear her saying is “this other person is being more successful that me right now with a form of art I don’t understand, therefore, it’s not art.”
Sorry folks, Whitney is not an artist, she’s a SINGER. She sings what others create. She doesn’t ‘get’ performance art. REAL artists out there have been singing Gaga’s praises because she’s a breath of fresh air from what we have seen for such a long time. People who don’t get her are irrelevant to the movement that’s taking place because of Gaga. i.e. Whitney Houston.
i agree with jorinda. went to see her in birmingham last night and thought she was brill, wish i could go again to the london one. but ur right with this negativity thing, all thats being reported today is the people who didnt like it….well, why dont they talk to all those hundreds of people who did. whitney is fab and is a legend and always will be.
