Track listing for SiA’s “We Are Born” is out!

The tracklisting for SiA’s new album and our #1 most anticipated album of the year is out. The list includes the lovely single “You’ve Changed” and a surprise cover of Madonna’s “Oh Father.” Wikipedia is reporting that the first single is not the quirky “You’ve Changed” but a track by the name of “Clap Your Hands.” This album has the demeanor of a pop record. Could it be that SiA is finally releasing the label that was shelved by record execs before the release of Some People Have Real Problems. Not sure, but it looks like We Are Born is going to be a blast and a half. It is slated for a June 7, 2010 release.

The album’s a-buzzing. Everyone is waiting to have a listen. Head First is supposed to be a return to form. By that, we mean she ditched folktornica for lush synth dance. But, if “Rocket” is anything to go by, the new album is nothing to look forward to. Yet, we are sure there is a gem or two.

Again: Music For March: Poppygoo

We don’t eat sugar. At all. Instead, we decide to fulfill our penchant for everything sweet and gooey through audio. Yes, this month’s mix is an unashamed straight-up offering of pop music. So much pop to make you pop. It’s like a 22-course meal of sweets. Will it make you throw up, maybe? But, at least you had fun eating.
