She wants to return to pop and ditch the hard look. One of the producers Sean Garrett explains: “I got a record on Rihanna’s new album. She’s got some surprises. I gave her a humongous radio record. It’s just so infectious. It’s about getting past any drama and just being happy to be alive. It’s an encouraging record. It feels great and it’s got great tempo.”

Also, the exciting news is that she called the album My Best Friend Is You. The name is very different than Birds, but we love her so much we accept anything… except “I Just Love You More.”
