Ricky Martin comes out of the closet as gay!

3

We knew it all along. But, finally! He just referred to himself as a “fortunate homosexual.” Yeah, fortunate after he came out too late and didn’t help the cause. No sympathy for this friend of Dorothy. Now that she got what she wanted in life, she wants to reap the benefits of the lifestyle. Why now? It’s really no big news and kind of sad that it took him that long to admit it, when he could have helped with exposure and visibility before. No clapping hands for him. Girls Aloud to allegedly continue without Nadine Coyle

1

News around the blogosphere today is that Girls Aloud are considering to continue with a new album without the most beautiful one of them all Nadine Coyle. Some rumors have circulated that Nadine has not made her album in time for the “end of 2010″ get together for another Girls Aloud album. But, there is no other evidence. Although Kimberley Walsh has insinuated that Nadine is responsible for the group’s hold up, which was later refuted by Nadine herself via Twitter. Why should the worst voice in the band get to release and album and not the best? Give her some time she is working with William Orbit.

Video Premiere: “Can’t Fight This Feeling” by Junior Caldera Featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sophie Ellis-Bextor disappeared for a while and now she is all over the map. This song leaked a while back but was overshadowed by the Freemasons collaboration when it’s better. This song is actually better than her new single “Bittersweet” from the album Straight To The Heart.

New Nelly Furtado track “Girlfriend In This City” has leaked!

Nelly Furtado is back to doing some English songs after a stint at Spanish music with Mi Plan. This new song is so good that it almost makes us forget that Nelly Furtado sold her soul to the devil for Loose. It’s upbeat yet yearning. It’s a very well-arranged song. We hope it’s a single from her next album, which will be titled Lifestyle and will drop on May 25th, 2010. Click below to listen to it.

Official cover for Macy Gray’s new album “The Sellout”

Macy Gray’s career has been dwindling, to say the least, since her debut. This is her newest effort and she allegedly swears it’s a return to form. “I had got to a place in my career where I tried everything that was asked of me and in doing so I lost sight of who Macy Gray really is. I spent over a year making this album without any pressure or opinions and being able to choose the co-writers, producers and artists that felt good to me. As a result, it really reflects my true identity,” she said. Let’s hope for the best.

Video Premiere: “Acapella” by Kelisa

So Kelis is trying a brand new direction with this effort. She looks a bit off with the peroxide hair. Less chic, more granny. But, this song is something to sing about. It could turn a club upside down, that’s if the DJ’s would play it because, frankly, a good DJ these days is as hard to find as Jennifer Lopez’s integrity. Anyway, we hope the album’s up to par.

Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Window Seat” by Erykah Badu

Just when India Arie went on a rampage to explain her disdain for Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s video citing it as a harbinger of full-on naked videos, Erykah Badu did just that. She strips entirely in her new video and she has the body for it. The whole video is one take and it doesn’t feature Badu singing. She just walks down the street taking off clothes and ultimately meets her time. The mini-statement at the end puts everything into perspective. Don’t know about you, but we are having a very Erykah Badu week – from Baduizm to New Amerykah, Part Two: Return Of The Ankh.
