So much for not releasing the album if it leaked. Erykah’s Badu’s new full-length album has made the internet leak. It’s all over the net. Badu has threatened not to release the album if it leaks. New Amerykah, Part Two: Return Of The Ankh is supposed to me a lighter and smoother release to its predecessor. From the leaked tracks os far, it sounds more upbeat than any other Erykah album, however there’s also a triumphant return to smooth soul beats that resembles her unforgettable debut Baduizm. SiA talks about new album “We Are Born,” feeling miserable
Not happy to hear that SiA is feeling miserable these days, but last time she felt this way she released the monumental Colour The Small One. It’s hard to believe that such an acclaimed artist is not making any money. It’s sad really, but we have high hopes for We Are Born and we hope it gets her the appreciation she deserves so she could stay and not become a full-time songwriter because we’d miss her beautiful face.

If you look closely at the new sleeve of Christina Aguilera’s new album Bionic, you will realize that the mechanical side of her face has some hidden words in it. They are the names of people close to her. There’s a “Max” for her son, “Jordan” for her husband, “Mom” for her mother. Also, the graphic designer managed to cram in his fame to “D-Face.” But, there are two other names that are cryptic – “Olivia” and “Eve.” What’s her sister’s name? Can you spot them? We Got “Genie In A Bottle” for the debut, “Dirrty” for Stripped, “Ain’t No Other Man” for Back To Basics, “Keeps Gettin’ Better” for the greatest hits collection and now “Not Myself Tonight” will lead the way for Bionic. We heard Linda Perry boasting about how Xtina has “toned it down” with her vocals for this album and we don’t like that news as melisma is lovely! But, let’s hope for the best!

World-renowned diva and personal favorite Mariah Carey turns 40 this March 27th, 2010. Yes, the big 4-0! This picture is of Mariah when she was 20. Not much has changed. She’s still the great MC. We know that Mariah doesn’t like calling it a “birthday” but opts for “anniversary” instead. Finally, some actual big news from the Christina Aguilera camp. This, my friends, is the album cover for Xtina’s new album Bionic. It’s quite an image, if you ask us. She looks both vulnerable and robotic. But, as always, the typeface is just a hot mess and a half. Why is it dripping and why that font? Horrid! But, the image (if the black frame is not there) is very nice and well put together. Can’t wait to download the whole thing and listen to the collaborations. The video will be out sometimes by the end of the month. Yay!
