We love us some Diane Birch and it’s about time you do. This sultry chanteuse brings back the soul to music. It’s a surprise to us that she still hasn’t made it big. Pick up her album Bible Belt.
The big news is Christina Aguilera’s “Not Myself Tonight” has lyrics!
1The new ploy by Christina Aguilera’s camp is too much. It seems Christina Aguilera is taking herself way too seriously. She had announcement of big new to tell us that her new song has lyrics. Surprise. What would be? An instrumental track without melisma. Never! Anyway, the only good thing about this that the lyrics are of a slutty fugue. We like and hope the bit is dirrty. Click below to read the lyrics.
Video Premiere: “Vanilla Twilight” by Owl City
The band that has Burj Al-Arab on it’s current album sleeve has release another single after the skyrocketing success of the previous. “Fireflies” was not our cup of tea, it’s too college-rock for us and verges on Len territory. But, this track is worth a mention. Check it out.
Florence + The Machine is shooting video for “Cosmic Love”
Florence Welch and her Machine are hard at work creating a video for the song that first captured our hearts on her monumental album Lungs. The last single from the award-winning album will be “Cosmic Love.” The song is a journey of wails and beautiful ambiance of beats. We’re glad she has decided to release before getting onto her second album. She announced it via Twitter. We will post it as soon as it arrives.
Video Premiere: “Easy” by Dragonette
1The new single is “Easy” and this is the video for it. We like “Liar” a lot, but we don’t think this is a bad choice from Fixin’ To Thrill.
Robyn single “Fembot” has been leaked!
Robyn’s buzz single (or maybe lead single from the new album) has leaked. The song feels like its is a continuation for the fabulous “Robot Boy.” The song’s all over the internets and is quite fun. Give it a listen.

Film Trailer: “Eat, Pray, Love”
It sounds like it’s going to be a good movie for a Hollywood production. We’re not too excited about her chosen itinerary as it’s far-fetched. But, we love us some Julia Roberts.
Wikipedia has gone done!
1The greatest encyclopedia on earth has gone down and dimmed dark. The website cannot be accessed for hours now and there is no reason given for the disappearance. Some people, like us, can’t exist without Wikipedia and are finding it hard today to accept the internet as what it is without out peak at one of the greatest sites to grace this earth. Let’s hope this is temporary. Click here to check.

Toni Braxton begging people to follow her on Twitter
Toni Braxton wants to make sure that the promotion for her new album Pulse touches all bases even if it just leaked. So, she is begging people like Paula Abdul to follow her and get the word out that she is a tweeting celebrity. There are other ways to get the attention, Toni. Like paying Kim Kardashian to tweet about you. Click here to follow Toni Braxton.
Jessica Wild does Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”
Jessica Wild might have been eliminated from RuPaul’s Drag Race this week, but she has still got what it takes to be a grand dragzilla. This video is proof.
Moby to release remix album of “Wait For Me”
Moby independent success on his highly acclaimed album Wait For Me has yet to spring some fruits upon us. The album’s run is not over yet as Moby’s camp has announced that the album is getting the remix treatment along with an alleged single of “Wait For You,” probably remixed. We can’t wait for it as it will bring on the chill-out moods more with some staccato.
Video Premiere: “Rambling Man” by Laura Marling
Laura Marling’s gone a little twangy on her sophomore album and its all not too bad. I Speak Because I Can is shaping up to be one of the best albums of 2010.
Lady Gaga talks about new video for “Alejandro”
3Although we still hear Ace Of Base’s “Don’t Turn Around” (or their version at least) all over the song, we actually quite like it. Our curiosity grew further when we heard the video will include David Walliams from Little Britain in it. It is one of the best tracks on the The Fame Monster. Lady Gaga called in a radio station to say that the shooting for the video of the song will commence soon and it will not be a continuation of “Telephone,” which we are very glad to hear. Let’s hope for the best. So she did razors and cigarettes on her glass the last times, now what? Tampons? Tooth brushes? Condoms? Oh, wait, Left-Eye already did that.
Janet Jackson on the Today Show with Tyler Perry
1Toni Braxton’s new album “Pulse” has leaked!
Toni Braxton’s eagerly awaited new album after a long hiatus and a stint at Sin City gigs has leaked. Granted, most of the tracks have seen the light of day before because over the past few months we have noticed a spew of all kinds of studio versions by Braxton online. But, the whole “advance” version of the album is making the internet rounds and people are gulping it up like butter. Pulse has a couple of strong numbers on it. Click here to be forwarded to another blog in order to investigate further and further.
Video Premiere: “You’re The One” by Dondria
Dondria had two songs before this one that were exceptional for a new artist. “Weight Of My Tears” and “Can’t Stop” were great songs, so it comes a surprise to us that she’s choose this mediocre R&B ballad straight out of the Monica side as her first single and video. It’s just not as good as the other songs.
Loft965 Exclusive: RuPaul unexpectedly releases remix album “Drag Race”
4RuPaul is super busy promoting the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and her book Workin’ It. But, that hasn’t stopped her from releasing an album this year. Unexpectedly and suddenly, with no promotion, RuPaul has released a remix CD titled Drag Race that remixes the best of her previous album Champion. The album is not listed on Amazon, 7digital, Wikipedia and there is not a single search engine that pops up with news about this. There was just a tiny little tweet that went by and left from RuPaul. So, this is the first announcement of it. Check it out on iTunes. Meanwhile, aren’t you just addicted to the show?
