Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson to star in the same Tyler Perry movie together!

News just in! Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson are going to star in the newest Tyler Perry movie For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf. Wow, what a title and what a cast. It will also include Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberley Elise, Kerry Washington and Loretta Devine. The cast will also include Macy Gray, which is awkward, because Macy has publically made fun of Mariah before and said she wants to slap her. The movie will probably be a motivational tribute to the endearment of women of color. This is so exciting, it will only be greater news if the two divas get to making the duet that we’ve always dreamed of even if we don’t know how in the world they will equalize both singers’ voices to fit on the same track. One is big, whistle-register loud and the other is sexy squeaky. But, all-in-all, good news!

Brandy is working really hard at the new show and the album, so we get some more leaked juiciness from one of the only R&B artists that have consistently impressed. Cheryl Cole demonstrates how horrible her voice really is by covering Owl City’s “Fireflies”

1

Seriously, Cheryl Cole just put Madonna in third place and Jennifer Lopez in 2nd place of the worst voices in pop history. She tops the list now and she can’t even pull of “Fireflies.” We’d boo her at karaoke. We wonder how much studio work has gone into her voice to release the album 3 Words. Just horrid!

Goldfrapp messes up lip sync performance on live Italian TV

She looks disoriented a bit, but if the balloons were bothering her so much she could just back up and perform there or not move. But, she went and looked a fool with the vocals singing without her singing. Anyway, we are not too happy about her new album Head First. It’s just not up to par.

Perez Hilton to get own radio show

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is following in Ryan Seacrest’s footsteps. He will be launching a weekly music countdown show in the upcoming months. He will probably feature his artists as he is signing some acts. So, expect a whole lotta annoying Sliimy tunes and maybe an odd Tori Amos track here or there. He will also be launching a new website for it.

Video Premiere: “Bittersweet” by Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is back. But, hold your horses, she’s doing the same shiz she’s been doing forever. This single sounds like the out-cuts of her collaboration with Freemasons “Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer).” It’s really not that fabulous. The album is called Straight To The Heart. Let’s hope it has some gems on it.

Christina Aguilera debuts new single “Not Myself Tonight”

Chrisina Aguilera really has some nerve. After an unapologetic hiatus and a myriad of album delays from one of the least prolific artists of our time, we get, post much-hyped countdown on official site, the artwork of her first single. It looks like a promotional poster for the movie Sin City and there isn’t even a snippet to accompany it. If you are going to go all out and create a countdown for a buzz, they least you could do is ready up some music. Well, at least now we know that the first single is not “Glam.” Now, we have to wait another day for some other “big news” Let’s see how big this’ll be, maybe they’ll announce a remix.

Hotel: Lily in Maldives

“The primary objective has been to upgrade the resort to a high quality, luxury experience. Only natural materials are used for all its Villas as well as Public areas. The final product is a fusion of contemporary design and local Maldivian architecture. It is a wonderful combination of wood, different kinds of natural stones and modern design, which blend in creatively with the natural surroundings of the island.” – from Private.
