M.I.A. is not one for the faint-hearted. The singer has just released the sleeve to her song “Born Free.” The artwork features a picture of what looks like the extrajudicial murder of some Tamil people by Sri Lankan forces. Plus, an image of an unavailable website, maybe to insinuate blocked information or sites. A very striking cover, indeed. Now, we wish we can say the same thing about the song.
Glad to see that the anger management classes didn’t work and the supermodel is back to her diva antics.
This picture just came out. We can’t imagine what the headlines will be like tomorrow. If it is true, although unlikely because of a simple hand held, she is better off.
Cher is currently working on a rock album for 2010 and is busy in the studio trying to put it together. Her rep confirms that the new album will be released later this year and will include two versions of the album. The standard version has 14 songs while the Deluxe Edition will include 19. Her rep says: “This is going to be by far the most successful album Cher has recorded in her 45 year career.”
