Even better, we thinks!
At the Loft965 offices, some of our staff think this new artist is the bomb diggity and is worth the post. Other think that she is utter crap. So, we flipped a coin and the latter lost.
SiA is not only releasing a whole new full-length album, We Are Born, this year. But, also a live album of her material, too. SiA is one of those artists that sounds better live than she does on record and this is always a great way to get that across. She’s a touring artist rather than a records artist. Of course, both are great mediums but a SiA live experience is one to watch and hear. The We Meaning You Tour included old favorites and new material. There are two versions of the CD – one recorded live in Copenhagen’s Vega and the other in London Roundhouse. Be sure to get one!
True is many ways. Not for us though. We barely watch TV at all. We sometimes go months without a flick of the remote. It’s really not that thrilling for us. Now if we are talking about the internet… then, yes, we are addicts.
This issue has been debated for a while but the internet has finally allowed non-latin URL addresses. This gives many languages the accessibility options that English and other latin alphabet languages have. Several websites have started operating with this new addresses like the Egyptian Ministry of Communication. Good move in diversifying the internet but hell to people who don’t know the languages but need access.
Werk!

News just in. Allegedly, Natalie Imbruglia has been dropped from Island/Universal records after her latest album Come To Life failed make a dent on the charts. Plans to release her third single “Scars” has also been scrapped. This means the physical UK release of the album probably will not make it, which makes the album, although released digitally, a non-charting album! Now, that’s sad!
Oh, it’s one of these dance tracks that is made for the mainstream club scene. You know, it has it all. The non-experimental DJ of certain fame, the big pop name, the video with random top shop girls dancing all around. Totally not our cup of tea, but thought we’d inform you before it infects the summer.
So they are on a hiatus and they need to make some cash, but this is not good enough reason to sell out with fake eyelashes that look more CVS than editorial! Well, we’re just jealous because we want some. Out of all of the girls, why did Nadine Coyle get the tackiest ones? Something tells me the girls went ahead and picked for her without her knowledge since she is all the way in Los Angeles, California.
Michael Bolton is really capitalizing on the fact that Gaga wrote him a song before she hit the big time. So much so, that it’s the first single off of his album. Say what you want about him being a has-been, but his voice is something to talk about. It brings back the early nineties with a single note. This song feels forced but it not too bad. Many midwestern desperate housewives will appreciate this.
