As of now, Twitter is being hacked by what some people are saying a Turkish hackers. All of your followers and following peers are no longer on your list. The site is suffering from major technical setbacks and even Perez Hilton has spread around a way for a person to have someone follow them without their consent. Hello, internet mayhem! The problem began when a flaw was uncovered that allowed people to force others to “follow” them on the site.

People who typed “accept” followed by a person’s Twitter username forced the user to be added to their list of followers.

Twitter have fixed the problem but said they are currently cleaning up the damage it caused.

“We identified and resolved a bug that permitted a user to ‘force’ other users to follow them,” the site said in a blog post. “We’re now working to rollback all abuse of the bug that took place.”
