M.I.A. calls third album “/\/\/\Y/\”
1One to file under the weird album names next to Sigur Ros’s (), M.I.A. has gone and called her album /\/\/\Y/\. Yes, that’s right. It’s called /\/\/\Y/\. Like: “did you get your copy of /\/\/\Y/\?” Well, there is reasoning behind this. She called her first album after her father, Arular, then she called the second album Kala after her mother. But, this album is called /\/\/\Y/\ because it looks like “Maya” – M.I.A.’s real name. So, there it is. It’s a novel name, but we like it.

It’s another one of those album that’s made for the singles purely, but we haven’t come to expect much from here. So, there.
