What is so good about Robyn’s songs is that the sound really good stripped or hyped up. This is lovely and starkly quaint.
When asked by Parlour magazine: “You’ve just finished writing Ciara’s entire new album too. Is this really her last shot at pop stardom? The-Dream replied: “I think so. You only get so many times to, and I won’t say fail, but not achieve. There’s an expectation of where Ciara should be in her career. To others, she’s achieved but not to us, because we saw where her career was headed. But now she’s back on the horse. When she first came out I, like Lil Jon and Jazze Pha, understood exactly who she was. It was that whole Atlanta vibe because if i’m not Atlanta, no one is. I knew if I had a chance to get with her creatively, there’s a specific type of swagger that she’s got. Tricky and I did her whole album, but it’s not all shallow songs like “Ride.” There’s play time but there’s substance too, it’s a great listen.”

As we approach the first anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, all the publications are going to clamor to write pieces or features on Michael Jackson, the unabashed King Of Pop. It’s been a year since our hearts broke with sadness of the maestro’s passing away. This is a tribute to him and his incomparable presence in music and the creative world. We love you and miss you.
Morcheeba never really fell through, but this is the prime of what they did along with Skye – the voice of Morcheeba as we remember them. Now they are back with a surprisingly up to par album titled Blood Like Lemonade. This is just a tidbit of the sound the conjured up.
Kylie Minogue recently told Simon Cowell that she is up for a stint as a judge of American X-Factor. The British version practically took her sister Dannii Minogue from gayborhood name to household name. This would be interesting as it would introduce Kylie to plethora of demographics that haven’t heard of her. Good or bad?
