On the video: “The music video was made by printing the illustrations onto pieces of card, cutting them out and arranging them on a table with pieces of wire to hold them up. I then used a copy stand and digital camera to film the camera moves, using the ruler on the stand to move the camera a millimetre at a time. Sometimes I would film the camera move twice with different lighting set ups and then fade between them in After Effects. I also used After Effects’ time warp to slow the camera moves down and add the scratched film effect.”
