Now, we are not avid fans, but we think he has a great voice and “Turn Your Car Around” is a guilty pleasure of ours. So, fans have organized a petition for the release of the album. Just when you think the American public geared itself into listening to some great dance music that is not Cascada or “Sandstorm.” Another factor shows up to make us pessimistic. While Kylie, following her much-publicized US tour and the new album promo, finally gets a top 20 debut on the US Billboard Charts. Aphrodite has landed at #19 with approximately 18,000 copies sold. Now, this is somewhat good news, but she still deserves the top spot.
In other news within the same vain, Kelis’s fifth album Fleshtone did miserably on the charts. The album landed at #46 selling only 7,833 copies! The album is arguably Kelis’s best and despite scoring a number one dance single with “Acapella,” she still debuted at her lowest chart position ever. Maybe because the leak came very early?
