News is in that Cheryl Cole, who is in the middle of a nasty divorce, is planning to keep her last name for the release of her next album and book. She is not going to go back to her last name Tweedy. A source close to Cheryl said her decision not to revert to her maiden name was inspired by soul legend Tina Turner, who kept her married name when she split from Ike Turner: “She is a fan of Tina Turner. Tina was divorced during her career but decided to stick with her married name because it was how she was best known.” Erm, you really don’t want to compare yourself to Ike & Tina.
Natasha Bedingfield performs new single “Weightless”
So, did she say the album is called Strip Me? Because that comes very close to Christina Aguilera’s Stripped in concept. At any rate, it’s probably going to have one hits and be repackaged to include a single with a guest rapper or vocalist to give the effort a boost. As usual.
Donna Summer releases new song “To Paris With Love”
3It’s a bit lounge and jazzy, it sounds like it was made for one of those hotel compilations. But, it’s not. It’s a new single from the legendary diva that attempted a mishmash of contemporary on the badly put-together Crayons and now is going for something easier and more her. We like it. Click below to listen to it.
