We really haven’t given Amy MacDonald‘s sophomore album a good spin, but the singles are up to par. This is the fourth single, yes fourth. It’s called “Love Love” and is right up her ally.

P!nk to release greatest hits collection!
1P!nk is set to take the best of her catalogue and put it on one disc and it’s about time. All of Pink’s albums from Can’t Take Me Home to Funhouse have had an impressive array of hits. Our favorite albums are Try This and I’m Not Dead, basically the angst era. She is currently shooting the promo pics in LA and it is allegedly set to have a new single for a November, 2010 release. In more good news, a new album is slated for a 2011 release, too!

Thanks AG for the tip.
Again: Music For September: Decithon
5This time around, we are on the cusp of autumn (if you are in the Northern Hemisphere), so we decided to have the last blast as partying is our creed, nowadays. At any rate, the concept behind this stomper is simple. We wanted to create a marathon of song that require a high decibel to be appreciated. Hence, Decithon. It’s not for the faint-hearted. It’s made with feet angst in mind. So, put on your dance shoes and dance the blues.
Video Premiere: “Higher” by The Saturdays
It’s amazing how the fact that their third album was a half-assed EP with a bunch of lackluster hand-me-downs and people are rarely addressing that. Not cute.
Kylie Minogue fails to sell out tour dates!
The word is out that Kylie Minogue 2011′s tour dates in the UK have failed to sell out at each and every venue. We think it’s a little to early for everyone to quarrel up and get tickets, it’s next year. But, still we’d think she’d sell out the one London date at least. Well, at any rate, Aphrodite is one of the best album of the year and her career, so we are not worried really. As long as she releases “Too Much” as a single.
Mariah Carey says “Merry Christmas II You” in September!
The beat on that background track sound like a hoot, let’s hope it’s a cut from the album Merry Christmas II You. Also, how funny is the fact that Mariah Carey splurged for the studio to look Christmasy for an album recorded in the Northern Hemisphere summer season!
Don’t Quote Me, Vol. 452
1Trailer for “For Colored Girls”
Exciting. It looks like the sisterhood flick we have been waiting for for a while. Having Janet Jackson in it makes it great, too. It would have been perfect if Mariah Carey didn’t bow out, but she is pregnant, allegedly, and has a Merry Christmas II You coming out soon.
