She’s on it!
Apparently, the new album has a lot of sass and is colorful. The first single sounds good. Let’s hope it’s better than Rated R.
Fran Healy happens to be the frontman of one of our favorite bands of all time, Travis. He is also the wise person’s Chris Martin. You see, without Travis there would be no Coldplay. At any rate, he is newly vegetarian and ready to take on the world as an artist. Wreckorder comes out October 4th and it also features Neko Case and Paul McCartney. Heather Small is finally showing some face. We are glad she is joining all these ladies on tour and we hope that this to new material from either M People or Heather Small. This is the show to see.
We know she is a penny-pincher and loves her dollars, but we didn’t think she was as frugal as that. Madonna was spotted to a train on the NYC subway rail, miss honey. We like that she is there, but we wonder what the reasons are. It’s definitely not for publicity as her face looks a mess.
Nadine Coyle is our favorite Girl Aloud and in our head we’d like to think that this album is a marriage between Ray Of Light and Butterfly, but we have to be realistic. Still, we have very high hopes for her and we hope she beats Cheryl Cole out of the field. The album’s titled Insatiable. It’s dropping on November 8th of this year and the lead single will be the album title song. Click below for the tracklisting. Unlike Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle co-wrote every single track on the album.
This is the a promo picture of Janet Jackson for her latest project For Colored Girls by Tyler Perry. She looks stellar as usual and we are kind of excited for this movie even if we think Tyler Perry’s movies are over dramatic and sometimes inconsistent and detached. But, Janet’s in it, so it’s all good, baby.
“gonna go out
to the arrivals gate at the airport
and sit there all day
watch people reuniting
public affection so exciting
it even makes airports ok
watching children run
with their arms outstretched
just to throw those arms
around their grandpa’s neck
watching lovers plant kisses
old men to their misses
at their arrivals gate”
- Ani DiFranco
on “The Arrival’s Gate”
We are glad Charlotte Church with some pop for us, but this has a little too much twang for us. The chorus is cute, but the rest is too Taylor Swift for our liking. The video is especially nice though.
