Nikka Costa to release new album “PRO★WHOA!” soon!
PRO★WHOA! is the fifth “adult” album and eighth album overall by the American soul singer-songwriter Nikka Costa. The album is notable with the music direction change from funk and soul to a more poppier direction. Unlike her previous independently released album Pebble to a Pearl, PRO★WHOA! will be released by Virgin Records. It was about to be released on September 3, 2010 in Europe, however, the release date was pushed back to February, 2011. Nikka claimed that she really doesn’t know when the album will be released.

One half of once critically acclaimed neo-soul duo Floetry, Marsha Ambrosius, is ready to unleash her solo efforts that she has been working on for a while. We always liked her more than the floacist, who was more preach less melody. Anyway. the new album is called Late Nights & Early Mornings and some tracks have already been leaked on the internet including “Far Away.” The album is set to drop in January of next year.
