One of our favorite songs from Ke$ha’s debut album Animal, “Stephen,” has gotten the video treatment, even though the popstrel is already on her second album. The video is supposed to be a clip to be shown on her tour.
Mariah Carey’s “Oh Santa!” didn’t really climb the charts like “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” but she is already on her second single and we are glad she is releasing more. Not that we have listened to the album Merry Christmas II You, as we have been very bad lambs! But a new video would be splendid.
The team that got us electro-lush way before Gaga graced the scene has been dropped form their record label. That is not only due to the fact that they have been selling bad, but also because their last album Head First was just a horrible effort. Nothing new or exciting about it at all. Here’s what they had to say about it: “
Our contract ended in August so we are no longer with EMI. We aren’t with anyone. It means when this tour ends I will have a meltdown. No, it’s very exciting if I’m serious. It’s exciting because it is kind of, like, ‘Wow, this is a whole new chapter really, what will we do and will anyone want us?’.
And we definitely want to do more work together and write a new album and we want to do some other things. It feels like an endless world of opportunity really, it’s exciting.”
“No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other’s worth.”

Image by Tareq Al-SultanVH1 needs to go research and reassess its definition of “diva” because they don’t seem to understand the meaning of the word. Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Paramore, Keri Hilson and whoever else they have on this year are hardly divas. In fact. they are merely young-ins. What they need to do is bring the Mariahs and Whitney and then we’ll be in business. Right now it’s looking like a Radio show concert. The only good thing about this show is that it is hosted by Kathy Griffin.
