Mariah Carey is the Christmas lady and this is one of the tracks she did not in promotion of Merry Christmas or Merry Christmas II You, but during her recovery after her much-publicized breakdown post-Glitter. Her delivery is perfect.
Don’t Quote Me, Vol. 483
Video Premiere: “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)” by Enrique Iglesias
2This is kinda meh, but it will probably hound us at every breeder club for the entirety of 2011. Yachts, Ludacris, boner dykes and all.
Michael Jackson’s “Michael” sells 3 million in first week!
1Even though it didn’t manage to land on the number one spot on the Billboard 200, it still managed to get record sales worldwide. The only chart it landed at the top spot on is Denmark‘s (that we know of), but, nonetheless, it’s a hit. We are still hesitant about getting it because we believe that he wouldn’t have permitted some of these tracks to see the light of day had he been alive. But, at this point anything from our beloved Michael Jackson is treasured.
James Morrison talks new album, performs new song
“James Morrison has been away writing songs for his third album for much of 2010. The new album, which is still being recorded, will be released during 2011, with live shows to follow. In the meantime, James has recorded a special Christmas message to let everyone know what he’s been up to, wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to play a new song called ‘In My Dreams’.
Sky Ferreira delays album release
1Seems like everything is not going so fine at the Sky Ferreira camp. Her album, which has yet to be titled, is not seeing the light of day anytime soon. Why? Well, her first two single “One” and “Obsessed” didn’t quiet make it big and the album needs a whole lotta buzz to get it going. We think she needs a stronger single with a guest appearance accompanied by a fabulous video.
Video Premiere: “Army Of Love” by Kerli
Again: Music For December: Hardon
3After a bunch of lowtempo compilations that included the sequel to the ever-so-popular covers disc and the dark Sullene, we decided to go with a last shout out for the end of 2010. Hardon is a mixture of playful uppity dance tracks, ready-to-be singles and is sealed off with a signature bit of melancholy with sad little lullabies that will make you fuzzy all over. We are planning and overhaul for the compilations this next year and we have a bunch of ideas up our sleeves. It would help if you give us some feedback on both this compilation and the continuity of the consecutive offerings. We hope you like this boost at the end of the year and we look forward to filling your lives with lush music in the future.
