Exclusive: Official cover of Lira’s “Return To Love”

Loft965.com is very happy to be the first blog on earth to bring to your the cover of Lira’s new album.

Lira had an exceptional 2010 – becoming the first South African artist to release a live music concert on Blu-ray and selling multi-platinum numbers of her live DVD.

Now, early 2011, sees the multi-award winning artist return with a brand new studio album that’s nothing short of extraordinary – and a fitting calling card for Lira’s much-anticipated breakthrough onto the global music stage.

Titled Return To Love – Lira’s fourth studio album is a masterful record that draws together everything that Lira has worked for since she first embarked on her music career – at first tentatively with her 2003 debut and, from 2006’s Feel Good onwards, with mounting confidence in her singular abilities.

Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Far Away” by Marsha Ambrosius

2

This song is lovable from the get go and makes one nostalgic for the neosoul era. Marsha Ambrosius is one half of Floetry and a force to reckon with in the soul genre. But, this video takes it to another level. The story behind it just carries it very nicely and we love Marsha Ambrosius for taking a risk with her debut music video. Just grand, we didn’t think we could love her more.

Official cover of Tweet’s third album “Love, Tweet”

This album has been in the making for years on end! It was semi-anticipated for a while and then people gave up. Now she is back and her name is as overused as ever. For those of you who don’t know, Tweet was singing about masturbation way before the Twitter (or, come to think of it, any social networking site) came about. So, she might get lost in the fad. Still, we want to hear this offering. Click below for a list of the tracks recorded for this album.

Loft965.com receives an email from Britney Spears’ management!

7

So, allegedly, we woke up today with an email from Zomba Records in our inbox. Yes, the one and only Britney Spears had news for Loft965.com. Her management has emailed us because they are starting out a campaign for the launch of the new Britney Spears singles rumored to be titled “Hold It Against Me.”

Basically, the are launching a campaign through Facebook and want us to publicize it the Loft965.com logo will be included in the widget for the campaign. This is major!

The management wants us to get the word out on the new single. The strategy is to get at least 2 million people to announce the single’s release on their Facebook status. When they reach that number, the actual single will be unlocked on iTunes for all to purchase. How exciting is this?

We are currently in correspondence with Zomba/Jive and will keep you updated. Let’s hope the widget is embeddable on WordPress. If not, we will post the link anyway for this campaign along with the especially customized widget for Loft965.com by Britney Spears’ Management. Brace yourselves!
