Adele’s muchly-anticipated and eagerly-awaited second album 21 has made it to the internet a week or se before it’s release date. Yes, the soulful grandiose voice upon us. It contains the hits “Rolling In The Deep” and “Someone Like You.” We have to say that we have been waiting for this release so long. The news is fresh, so we don’t know where it leaked yet, but we hope it doesn’t hurt its chart performance too much. Of course, do not download it but stream it if you find it. Click here for more information on the leak.

Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Lights” by Ellie Goulding

1

Just when we wrote off Ellie Goulding this comes along and changes our minds. This is by far her most templated non-cover song she ever released. We got the original album not the re-packaged album that contains this song, but now we are definitely getting it. But, she should have been more of a demure musician because this is the title track from the album and its wasn’t released on the first issue, which means they knew they were going  to re-issue the album or it was a huge statistically almost impossible coincidence. What do you think?

Madonna is touring in 2011!

3

Rumor has it that Madonna is touring in 2011. Allegedly, some tour dates have leaked. They are not official as of yet. To tell you the truth, we wouldn’t be surprised if Madonna is touring this year. Since album and singles are not making money anymore and filling stadiums is bringing in the millions then Madonna will always go for the big green prize. Too bad we might not hear any new music from her this year if she goes through with these plans. We were hoping she’s do something eclectic and of value like Ray Of Light or American Life. Keep in mind this is a rumor, so we don’t need Madonna fans going all crazy, because we all know how you are.

Introducing… Oh Land

5

“What does it sound like? What does it smell like? What does it look like? How does it feel? I always ask myself these questions when I’m writing,” says singer and producer Nanna Øland Fabricius. “I think that Oh Land has a unique landscape all on its own. I strive to make the possibilities endless and to have all the senses collide in to a language on their own.”

Her multi-sensory approach to songwriting has been present from the beginning. Before Oh Land had a name, or even songs, she was a restless child on the outskirts of Copenhagen, where she wove together imaginary languages, characters, and magazines. Though she didn’t know it then, this sense of play would develop naturally into the skewed and rich aesthetic of Oh Land’s music and performance style.

Sexy Track: “Far From The Storm” by Husky Rescue

This sudden new single is a result of the revamping of the band’s line-up. It is a slow-moving yet thought-provoking tune that serves as a natural byproduct to the rise and fall of the trip-hop. Its smooth yet cold, it will leave you in the dark when you went to be left there. The Finnish band are known for their smoky post-clubbing music and this is an indication that this flair hasn’t withered. Click here to download it from the band’s official website.

Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Night Air” by Jamie Woon

Wow, this just blew our minds when we stumbled upon it. Jamie Woon was one of the artists to look forward to in 2011 and this is just up to par and more to our expectations. His vocals are on point and the moody melody feels like a new decade rebirth of trip-hop. Very beautiful.

Jessie J sings in the New York City subway!

2

It would have been just another ordinary day on the NYC rapid transit system, but Jessie J is not your ordinary artist. On a typically busy midday afternoon in New York City’s Times Square, the divine Ms J found herself a bustling corner with decent acoustics, set up a boombox, and ripped into a rousing rendition of her track “Who You Are” for a few lucky commuters.
