“She’s just come off tour with Amy Winehouse, Prince and Stevie Wonder but somehow Janelle Monáe is squeezing in time to work on new material.
“I’m working on new music now and as soon as the music is done, an album will be submitted, but we’re already like, ‘Let’s go,’ ” she says.

This is going to send some Britney cray-crays out of the window. But, this is not a thorough opinion, just a guesstimation. Every Britney Spears album comes with a robust first single, but this time around “Hold It Against Me” is hardly that. Usually the second best track is chosen as the lead single, to give the album good ground from which to establish itself and then give the second single some hype. But, if “Hold It Against Me” the second best track on the album then this album will probably be lacking, if not her worst. We have tried time and time again to like this song to no avail and now that we see the video, we are positive there is no hope for it to win our hearts over. Sad, but true.

3This is just too messy. The colors in pipes is taken from the robyn “Indestructible” video. The concept doesn’t match the song and the imagery is just too much at once. Plus, that white dress is horrendous. Also, 2001 called, it wants its dance back. Not okay, the teasers were better.
