This is going to send some Britney cray-crays out of the window. But, this is not a thorough opinion, just a guesstimation. Every Britney Spears album comes with a robust first single, but this time around “Hold It Against Me” is hardly that. Usually the second best track is chosen as the lead single, to give the album good ground from which to establish itself and then give the second single some hype. But, if “Hold It Against Me” the second best track on the album then this album will probably be lacking, if not her worst. We have tried time and time again to like this song to no avail and now that we see the video, we are positive there is no hope for it to win our hearts over. Sad, but true.

I wasn’t so sure I was with you when you posted your lofty prediction, but from the few songs & snippets I’ve heard so far (yes, I know that by now the album has leaked but can’t be bothered to search for it), I —a full out Britney fan— don’t feel excited one bit about it. *sigh* There, I said it. Will I buy it? Of course, but right now I’m not so sure I will like what I’ll hear.
The leaks are hot. “I Wanna Go” is actually the best song and is not the first or second single, so I guess she went with a different plan.
