Christina Aguilera arrested for public intoxication!
1As much as we are at odds with Floptina recently, we don’t think that anyone should be arrested for public intoxication for the consumption of alcohol. At any rate, more details coming!

Sexy Track: “Safari Disco Club” by Yelle
3This one’s for the feet. it’s make you want a wooden dancefloor to forget all your worries. Even though we could not understand the lyrics in French, the beat is so infectious that it will get you and get you going. The track is a robust call to the disco with magnificent arrangement and uppity vocals. Truly one of the best dance songs of 2011, as of now.

1Lofty Prediction: Beyonce to release an album this summer!
5Although Beyonce has announced that she is working on new material a while back, this was not triggered by that fact. Instead, three things come to mind. First, her last vacation. She said she wanted to recharge and that Caribbean escape was it. Second, SiA Furler was supposed to be working with Beyonce on the album, but there were enough tracks to fill a whole disc. That was mentioned by SiA herself. Third, the peculiar and sudden sign-up to Glastonbury. Only someone who had something to plug or promote would headline that festival in June. So, we say hooray to a fourth album in summer, maybe?
Adele on Chelsea Lately!
6We love both womyn, so this is so exciting. Lovely.
JoJo retitled album “Jumping Trains!”
1JoJo’s third album was slated for release last year. it was ready and had a single and video out, but due to label disputes the album never saw the light of day and was hindered by a couple of leaks here and there. Now, JoJo is ready to relaunch this record, which was previously titled All I Want Is Everything. Now, it’s called Jumping Trains. Peculiar name change, isn’t it?

Don’t Quote Me, Vol. 502
1Video Premiere: “Blow” by Ke$ha
1“That’s the story of how I was elected in the parliament of Uzbekistan” is something we didn’t expect from Ke$ha’s lips. Pretty dance song, but it can get annoying, as with any Ke$ha song.

Nelly Furtado to donate money from Gaddafi concert to charity!
1Nelly Furtado has tweeted about a concert that she had performed in Italy for Gaddafi‘s “clan” in which she made a million dollars. She said the leader gave her a million American dollars to perform a 45 minute set. Now, she is ashamed of this “blood money” that she made in 2007 and wants to donate it to charity. Well, that’s cute and all but all it would have taken for her to grasp what kind of totalitarian dictator he is is some googling. Why is it now that she decided it was the wrong thing to do. Know your oppressors.
Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Gutter” by Medina
1One of the best dance tracks of the decade has gotten the video treatment. Danish Medina has went for the early-90s’ Gary Barlow look with the bleached hair and release what could be her greatest video. Although we think she could have don so much more with the song’s concept, this is still good.
