“Following a recently settled, tumultuous legal battle with previous label Hidden Beach, which found her countersuing the label’s claim that she exited halfway through a six-album deal last year, singer/songwriter Jill Scott has signed a distribution deal with Warner Brothers Records.
Scott is currently in the studio working on her upcoming album, The Light of the Sun, which is slated for an early summer release.
Why, you say? Well, she has a couple of collaborations and remixes that haven’t seen the light yet. Also, the album doesn’t feel complete. Plus, it’s one of the best-selling albums of the decade and she is still on tour, which means she is either going on a long hiatus, releasing many singles or re-issuing the album. That being said, Rihanna previously reissued Good Girl Gone Bad with more tracks. Rated R, wasn’t good enough to get a revamp. So, we won’t be surprised if she actually adds a couple more tracks and cashes into what has become a very lucrative project.

Rarely does a dance track capture us from first listen, especially when you are not on the dance floor. This number is a stomper ready to deliver to all the people who fancy a little footwork at home or during the weekends. This song will be the opener to Britney Spears‘ new album Femme Fatale and if it is anything to go by, the album is going to be stellar. “Till The World Ends” definitely has Ke$ha influences without the annoying verses of blabber. It’s truly a standout track that is much better than the first single and can stand the test of time.
