Lady Gaga apologizes for bigoted comment

1

When we first read the interview we were enraged. “Retarded” should never be used in that manner. We’ve gotten into disputes over that before. It irks us everytime we hear it and it’s in big usage with a lot of people. We have to say that she fell from our eye a little bit, if you know what we mean. Now she is apologizing for it. She asserted: ”I consider it part of my life’s work and music to push the boundaries of love and acceptance. My apologies for not speaking thoughtfully. Ruiz (the band’s front woman), Raposo and Morgan Wiley, Jessica 6’s keys and synth master, originally met while performing with Hercules and Love Affair. “We were enjoying listening to each other’s music beyond Hercules. It was really just about having fun,” says Raposo who first met Wiley in college before joining the now defunct DFA produced hip-hop act Automato together. “Then Nomi came in with hundreds if not thousands of songs her laptop.”

This is probably the one thing that could distract us from all the beyonce hoopla as of now.
