Video Premiere: “Boadicea” by Mason featuring Róisín Murphy
1It turns out that the track everyone thought was from Roisin Murphy’s new record is actually a feature for producer Mason. This is the video for it and it looks like it hopes to be a summer dance hit.

2Sexy Track: “End Of The World” by Lenka
2She first burst onto the scene with “The Show,” which was a happy-go-lucky track of sorts. The song went everywhere from Hong Kong shampoo commercials to the soundtrack to the movie Easy A. Well, this wasn’t the only track of its brand but Lenka has mastered this genre. This track is a great overture for a high school crush. It might have a teeny bopper element to it, but its definitely not cheesy, which is a hard combination to mix. This is just a lovely morning love song that will make you want to fall in love or hanging out with your significant other. She kept it simple and sexy.
Video Premiere: “Afrodance” by Les Nubians
1Les Nubians have left our radar a long time ago, so to see them still going is good. Not our kind of music really, but worth a check-out. This is from their new album Nü Revolution.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Make A Scene” has leaked!
1Just when the single “Starlight” was getting some buzz the whole album, Make A Scene, leaks! This is a huge blow Sophie Ellis-Bextor‘s camp as it was supposed to surface on June 6th, 2011. So this comes a while before that actual date. We know complete albums that have been scratched because of early leaks. The only thing she can do is make the release earlier than the set date. At any rate, click here to be forwarded to another blog that leaked the album for investigative purposes only!
Update: The reason it leaked so early is because the release date in Russia was today for some reason! So, it wasn’t a leak for Russia, per se.
Video Premiere: “The Shield And The Sword” by Clare Maguire
1Glad to see the efforts to promote Clare Maguire‘s debut album haven’t halted as of yet. This is one of the stronger songs on the album. Light After Dark is a great disc.
Sexy Track: “Judas” by Lady Gaga
1Although we loved the message of “Born This Way,” we weren’t playing it loud and singing along to it. It feels somewhat contrived and Gaga know whatever she releases for her first single will be a hit. But, we feel like the real first single to the album, Born This Way, was this track. “Judas” has enough mojo to infect every summer dance floor from Ibiza to Mykonos to Ayia Napa. The chorus is robust and the sound is as fresh as just-squeezed orange juice. It will make you want to go up, and, of course, who doesn’t love a little bit of controversy?
