One of the most anticipated albums of the year, Jill Scott soul-drenched The Light Of The Sun, has leaked all over the internet a day ahead of its release. This is probably going to be one of the best albums of the year. We have only heard 2 songs from it, but knowing Jill Scott’s legacy so well, we can assure this. We are both excited and irked for this collaboration. Excited because its a new project, a fresh sound and it has an Arabic flavor. Irked because we know this sound to well to give it experimental credibility and also because the lyrics that we just heard on the video probably have nothing to do with the concept of the song “Crystalline.” Still, we are glad it happened. Zahed Sultan’s new album Hi Fear, Lo Love is out on iTunes and a remix competition is on fire. This track is one of our favorites on the album and we stumbled upon a remix of the song that we can’t stop playing. Listen to it and visit Zahed Sultan’s official webpage.
Keyshia Cole’s career was built up on one rule: bring back soul and R&B before it was too MTV-friendly. Yes, the diva is one of the primary soultresses of our time. This song from her first album showcases this ability. It’s a lovely song.

Okay, Okay… So, we are on a Beyonce binge. But, that’s only because the new material is up to par and, ultimately, good. This is one of the few uptempo tracks on the album. It’s one of those big concert openers with a strong bass line. Correct us if we are wrong, but something about it sounds very Brazilian in nature. It’s a sturdy buil-up kind of dance-pop song that will leave you lip-syncing in front of the mirror. Hey, it might also make you pick up the hairbrush and pretend it’s a microphone. Did we give out too much information.

We are probably one of the few people that actually sat down and gave Nadine Coyle’s debut Insatiable a good listen, which mean, in turn, that we are also one of the few to reap the benefits of a beautiful album overlooked by many. We are still reeling off of “Sexy Love Affair.” At any rate, just when you though that Nadine Coyle, our favorite Girl Aloud and Loft965.com’s favorite, is back with new single, new look and a whole lotta promo. 2 days from now, the single “Sweetest High” will debut. Possibly one of the best albums of 2011, Beyonce’s 4 is getting the promo that it deserves, and although it has leaked a long time ago now, we have a feeling that it can muster up good sales on the content itself.
