Video Premiere: “Hear My Call” by Jill Scott
1Jill Scott debuted this new video that she co-directed herself to the world today. Not the best song on the album, The Light Of The Sun. Actually, one of the worst songs on the album. As Masoom said: “Ilghniya wayid malat cartoon.”
Sexy Track: “I Bring The Beat” by RuPaul
2RuPaul is usually known for her dance anthems, but this time around she is perfecting the R&B stomper. This is a vibrant track with great one-liners and a fun beat. It will leave you lip syncing for your life. It sounds like all the nice soundbites from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 4 have made it of here. Full of attitude and a joyous cheer-leader melody will make this a big hit should it be released as a single and get the right media coverage.

1Lofty Prediction: Lady Gaga’s “You & I” will do poorly, by her standards!
1Way to jump the shark in style, but Lady Gaga’s “You & I” has all the ingredients to fail miserably. Not only is it not up to par with her dance-heavy oeuvre, but its video is not piquing many people’s appetites. The song, coming from a pop diva, is standard road-trip country fodder. It started out feeling like a rendition of John Lennon’s “Imagine,” but ends up with jukebox twang that is best avoided in today’s market. Not only that, but the ridiculous dancing in the video really left people thinking if Gaga’s theatrics are overwhelming many people and clouding her talent. Keep in mind, this prediction of ours attempts to pre-tell the failure of the single, by her standards, which means she might reach places, but it won’t be no big hit.
