Another track from Madonna’s new project has leaked. It’s called “Masterpiece” and it is the new theme song from the icon’s film W.E. Tori Amos is not done with her bout of love for classical music. The lovely warbler is going to release Sin Palabras, an instrumental and raw version of her previous album Night of Hunters. This is all cute and everything, but we are done with the classical era of Tori Amos’s career and are looking forward to some rock loving. The album will be released on December 13th on Deutsche Grammophon.
Beyonce’s life, from Girls Time to 4, is apparently on the is Live In Roseland DVD. Really Katie? Did we need to know that Beyonce calls her husband “J.” Unnecessary American media jargon. Also,her role in A Star Is Born is postponed.

Niki & The Dove might be sneaking up on Florence + The Machine’s territory, but they do have a unique sound. “The Drummer,” their new single demonstrates that clearly.
In late 2001, singer Julia Johnson and producer/bassist Mark Maclaine met, and early the following year formed the band Second Person. They spent the next two years writing material and playing gigs with a variety of musicians. Drummer Alvaro Lopez was recruited in mid 2004 and Second Person’s debut album Chromatography was released later that year. It went on to sell out of its initial white-label run in the United Kingdom, USA and Australia. The band went on to record a live DVD at The Bedford in London and score music for a number of British broadcasters, including the BBC and Channel 4, and became one of the main suppliers of music for The Extreme Sports Channel.
In 2005 Second Person were finalists in the Glastonbury Unsigned Competition, coming in the top 24 bands from 1600. They also wrote widely for short films and features, contributing songs and composing original scores, as well as working solidly to refine and develop their sound and material.
Another one of those new acts that we are looking into. The vocals are great and the song is dreamy. Let’s hope for some more beats soon!

As the world braces to see who is on the list of BBC’s Sound of 2012, we are mulling over some choice that might pop up in the list, which , by the way, produced more failures than success stories. Still, too many it’s the to-go list for many people looking for new beats for the new year. The past years we have always embraced artists way before they were on the list and then they managed to pop up. So, this time we are going to give you our predictions before. Here they go:
