Original Sugababes are back together!

4

The drama continues. The original line-up of the Sugababes (the way we liked them) are back together according to a few not-so-mysterious tweets here and there, allegedly. The two ladies who have active twitter accounts – Mutya and Keisha – have both tweeted that they are in the studio with two other ladies. Hmmm. This is not rocket science as the girls have expressed discontent with what has happen with “their” band. And to us, the band has totally jumped the shark after Keisha left. Let’s hope we hear from the original line up real soon!

Brandy and Monica are working together again!

Sit back. Brandy and Monica, the two R&B powerhouses who brought you one of the greatest pop songs on earth “The Boy Is Mine” in collaboration are back in the studio again. No news on what’s brewing, but it’s going to be huge. Maybe this is why Monica’s new album New Life has been postponed. It would be great to have a huge collaboration again. You know, the kind of song where they stopped fighting over a boy and joined forces as ladies who have been wronged. It’s only the natural continuation of the story.

Sexy Track: “If You Really Do” by Bic Runga

Leave it to Bic Runga to come up with a simply-constructed little ditty, attach thoughtful lyrics to it and also make it have one of the most memorable choruses of the season. This number is simple in structure but rich is style. “If Your Really Do” is a beautiful lullaby that speaks of yearning and love. It manages to embody everything essential about creating an effective and well-written song organically. Bic Runga’s only new album in six years, Belle, is short and sweet, but it manages to pack the punch with the catchy tunes like this delightful track.

Beyonce gave birth!

Rumors are coming in that Beyonce just gave birth to a baby girl, allegedly. This is a little of the gossipy side, but it’s B. At any rate, check the list below for a various sources.
