M.O. release video for “Hot”

The UK’s most exciting new trio M.O return with their new single ‘Hot’, written by the group and produced by K-Gee (All Saints, Jessie J) and Hostage.

‘Hot’ is an exuberant, dancehall-tinged anthem that has all the ingredients to become one of the hottest tracks of the summer. The video is directed by Phil Griffin (Jay-Z, Rihanna, Amy Winehouse), who came up with the concept of a choreography workshop for 120 dancers from the Mass Movement agency.

The trio – made up of Nadine, Annie and Frankee – have spent the past year working with an array of producers including Black Butter’s Woz, Gorgon City and Hostage, as well as Show N Prove, Preditah (BBK), Loadstar, Timothy Bloom and Prince Charlez . Their music is an amalgamation of old school R&B, reggae, pop and elements of underground house, garage and UK base.

The group’s previous singles ‘Wait Your Turn’ and ‘Ain’t Got Time’ have made them a mainstay across radio and TV, including support from BBC1Xtra, Rinse Fm, Choice and MTV. Mistajam made both tracks his ‘Jam Hot Record Of The Week’ and has described the group as “three amazing voices working together to create something special. Very strong material from them so far.”

The trio have also been building up underground support with their club tracks ‘On & On’ and ‘Come Let Me Show You’, making them one of the hottest new UK acts of 2013.

M.O first caused a buzz online when their unique re-imagining of Brandy & Monica’s The Boy Is Mine with Lady Leshurr became the most successful debut A64 in SBTV history, securing over 50k in 48 hours. To date M.O have amassed over 1.5 million views on YouTube. Further online accolades include RWD Magazines ’13 for 13′ tips, Dazed Magazine’s ‘New Band Of The Week’ and ASOS ‘Crushing On’.
