You guys, we did an interview over the weekend with Reina Swimwear and it just got published. It’s about the launch of our new blog Flight965.com.
We had you thinking that we were merely music-heads, but in reality one of our other hobbies is travel. Following the success of Loft965.com we decided to launch another dimension to our interests. Flight965.com caters to our wanderlust. Head over there to see what it’s all about.

As you might have realized. We’ve been a little low on the posts. We’re not slowing down, we are merely on a trip in Indochina. We started in Bali, Indonesia, then Bangkok, Thailand, now we are sitting in a street side cafe in Siem Reap, Cambodia and we are going to end it in Singapore. If we get the time we will post here and there, but keep coming and we should be in full swing on April 5th. Much love from Angkor Wat!
Lofties! You need some input from you! After hearing the great news that Loft965.com has cracked the top 50 most read music blogs in the world, we decided to give you more of what you want. Here, we ask you to give us a few seconds of your time to tell us what you like and don’t like. What we could use more of and what we could throw away. We have been doing this for a while now and we wanna know what makes you come visiting. You know, things that a stat counter can’t tell us. Currently, the blog is going on an internal overhaul, which is a good time to get feedback. We know you come in by the thousands everyday and we are very grateful for that, so help us hone and improve our blog.
So, go on. Leave us a comment to tell us what you would like out of this blog. Or just drop us a “hi.”
We woke up this morning to find that March 2011 holds a new record for us. Loft965.com not only broke into the top 50 most-read music blogs worldwide, according to blog analysis monitoring website Wikio.com, but also landed on sweet #47. Yes, the world in its glorious entirety. This marks a new era for the blog and also puts us on the map with sharper colors. As usual, we are grateful for the love and support that comes from the readership we get, which propels us into new ground and opens new doors for this tune-loving blog. We’ll keep it coming if you keep it coming!

The hard work has paid off and we are getting recognized by many institutions that monitor cyber development. We woke up today to find yet another badge of honor that has been given to us (we didn’t even apply). Topics Best has branded us a “Music Authority.” The website is a comprehensive portal for sorting and rating blogs. We are very thankful and happy for this.
2011 is shaping up to be a sexy year! Loft965.com has been “fanned” or “liked” by more than 2,000 people over on Facebook. That’s a huge accomplishment as those who follow the blog are either loyalists of the blog or frequent readers. It’s a lovely milestone is a road that’s becoming smoother with time. This also makes us to the most followed Kuwaiti blog on Facebook, to our knowledge. As always, much love and appreciation.

So, allegedly, we woke up today with an email from Zomba Records in our inbox. Yes, the one and only Britney Spears had news for Loft965.com. Her management has emailed us because they are starting out a campaign for the launch of the new Britney Spears singles rumored to be titled “Hold It Against Me.”
Basically, the are launching a campaign through Facebook and want us to publicize it the Loft965.com logo will be included in the widget for the campaign. This is major!
The management wants us to get the word out on the new single. The strategy is to get at least 2 million people to announce the single’s release on their Facebook status. When they reach that number, the actual single will be unlocked on iTunes for all to purchase. How exciting is this?
We are currently in correspondence with Zomba/Jive and will keep you updated. Let’s hope the widget is embeddable on WordPress. If not, we will post the link anyway for this campaign along with the especially customized widget for Loft965.com by Britney Spears’ Management. Brace yourselves!
This Monday was the best day Loft965.com has seen, and keep in mind, we’ve seen some good days! On that day we managed to to get hits from Google, Facebook and Bing in the upper 5-digits on one post only, not including the thousands we get daily on the Loft. Put it all together and we managed to notch up the best day in the history of the blog. Also, we managed to get the 4th most read post that day on WordPress, beating posts by giants like CNN and Entertainment Weekly. Not only that, but December 2010 is also shaping up to be the best month for the blog.
We, ofcourse, are very thankful and are looking to expand the blog. We have removed all the ads as of now so we can have a fresh start in 2011. 2010 was a great year filled with accomplishments including reaching the 2 million mark, establishing a great foundation of loyal readers, the expansion of our little workforce and, most importantly, cementing our foot as one of the 100 most read music blogs in the world! Currently we are sitting pretty at #59 in the world, which is such an accomplishment because the other blogs on there are either corporation-funded or have been around for much more than Loft965.com.
We wish you a great 2011 and we can’s wait to see what the new year has to hold for us. We also have a couple of surprises coming your way – stay tuned. So, keep the suggestions, feedback, hits, press releases, invites, music downloads, events and praises coming! We are thankful for all.
