Summer is here and so is one of your favorite compilations. Last year’s Splashine had much acclaim that we insisted on making it an annual offering. The concept and mindset behind this one is exactly the same as the first but, of course, with new tracks and artists. The album is perfect for tanning on the beach or while having a sunny vacation. The majority of artists on it are not too popular, but a few far away favorites and gems are thrown in there for the balance. Take a dip, lay on the beach and put in Splashine 2. Enjoy!

Yes, Mariah Carey‘s second seasonal album Merry Christmas II You has leaked just before Halloween. Coincidence, we think not. Anyway, it’s done the blog rounds and people are downloading it like wildfire. The album was set for a November 2nd release. Lady Gaga to release two albums in 2011!
Lady Gaga has been reported to have finished an album, but the new 8-track album system makes Gaga somewhat of a prolific artist! She is allegedly rumored to have two album up her sleeve very soon. That’s lovely, but, as with Robyn, the track shortage makes for an unsatisfying album that sounds like an EP. We love Robyn and all, but we need bigger chunks. Let’s hope Gaga doesn’t do that.
