Sexy Track: “Walking On Air” by Katy Perry

katy perry 2014Out of all albums we that were coming out in 2013, we never thought we’d find many amazing tunes of Katy Perry’s Prism. The album’s contents were a surprise to us, scoring the second Sexy Track on this blog with this dance number.

“Walking On Air” is the perfect dance song. It borrows heavily for mid-90s vocal house hits and lays down big vocals (for Perry) on a beautiful catwalk-worthy beat. The song is a stomper and should be a single anytime soon. Although it might not penetrate the US market as much as it does the European one (because of its no-holds-barred attitude to flamboyant dance, ie, gay music), it still worth the risk to release alongside a video, which should feature a bunch of drag queen, if you ask us. It’s a lovely track for a catchy album!
