So, if you weren’t on this earth last month – Adam Lambart had a huge violent fight with his boyfriend in Finland’s biggest and most famous gay club DTM. Well, now he is on the Ellen Degeneres. So now he’s “Juicing and exercising.” Ok, then.

We have to admit that we are not the biggest fans of Miss Kelly Clarkson, but throughout her career there have been standout records that we just couldn’t ignore like the Christina Aguilera-penned “Miss Independent” and the megahit “Since U Been Gone.” But with the new album building buzz and a little advice from our friend Jon Ali, we found ourselves dying for this track, which seems to be the next single.
“What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” is a huge rock number with poignant lyrics and high energy. Kelly Clarkson has mustered up another big hit with the potential to rule the airwaves for months to come. This so is a no-qualms ode to perseverance. The melody is that of a well-constructed rock anthem with enough edge to make you scream inside your car even if someone is watching, which is what happened to us today on the way to work. That’s why it’s sitting atop our chart this week!

4 could probably be Beyonce’s best album to date. The reason for it is not because it carries a bunch of singles like B’Day, but because it is a return to making music that matters. Love songs, like “I Care,” don’t come easily these days. The form takes on soul music like never before, with poignant lyrics and a feeling of instrumental clout on the song. Moreover, Beyonce’s vocals are the best they have ever been. This is the kind of song that proves that Beyonce is a powerhouse musically and shows us that sometimes getting down to basics of music creation is intrinsically the best way to makes paramount beats.

Nikka Costa is one of the artists that has never gotten what she deserved. Her blend of soul and pop is incomparable and she is one of the only voices out there giving soul props in this day and age. At any rate, we weren’t too happy with her German-only single “Ching Ching Ching,” but this new song “Head First” is exactly what the doctors ordered. We are glad that this sound still carries on on her album Pro*Whoa!

1One of the best dance tracks of the decade has gotten the video treatment. Danish Medina has went for the early-90s’ Gary Barlow look with the bleached hair and release what could be her greatest video. Although we think she could have don so much more with the song’s concept, this is still good.

Michael Jackson’s “Michael” sells 3 million in first week!

Even though it didn’t manage to land on the number one spot on the Billboard 200, it still managed to get record sales worldwide. The only chart it landed at the top spot on is Denmark‘s (that we know of), but, nonetheless, it’s a hit. We are still hesitant about getting it because we believe that he wouldn’t have permitted some of these tracks to see the light of day had he been alive. But, at this point anything from our beloved Michael Jackson is treasured.

The Barbie brand has partnered with Janet Jackson (Miss Jackson, if you’re nasty) to produce a limited-edition Janet Jackson Barbie doll to be auctioned for charity via charitybuzz.com. The auction ends December 15th. This toy IS pricey at 15K, but who’s to say a major major Janet fan won’t think that’s a fair price for the chance to “fall in love with [Janet] again,” albeit this time in a plastic iteration? The Janet Jackson Barbie even by a certificate of authenticity and a display case for showcasing your Janet adoration — because that’s the way love goes.
