Love 2 is Air’s 7th full-length album. It is set for an October 2009 release and, girl, are we excited. Here at Loft965.com we are Air completists. There hasn’t been a single Air released that hasn’t aroused and titillated. The last album Pocket Symphony was genius from start to finish. This one is looking like it can attain the same levels with it’s lead single “Do The Joy,” which is available to download for free on their website if you subscribe to their newsletter. Kylie Minogue does cologne for men named “Inverse”

1

Kylie_One_Page_Advert-490x641

Kylie Minogue venture into the world of smells have been so successful that she managed to release three different ones. First it was Darling then Showtime then Couture. Darling was so popular it came in two other versions: Sexy Darling and Sweet Darling. Now, she has moved on to the world or men’s colognes to satisfy every gay heart on the planet. The cologne is called Inverse and it features her boyfriend Allure Sport model Andrés Velencoso on the ad campaign. And he’s some eye-candy. The cologne come in two kinds or “facets.” It’s a dual scent, one for the day and another for the night.

Mariah Carey’s album cover for Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel

Now that “Obsessed” made the airwaves with a sleeve in tact and the album got an early release date of August 25, 2009, many people are speculating about the album cover. The photoshoot that took place for obsessed doesn’t look like album material. In any case, Mariah rarely uses the same photoshoot for her first single as her album. It only happened until “Fantasy” in the Daydream era. Of course, the lagune font will be there even if she didn’t use it on E=MC², which was was “extension” or “dessert” of The Emancipation Of Me. So the similar pose and the armpit galore is going to disappear. Also, I don’t think it’s likely that the album will have a black  background because that would just be overdoing it. The cover should come out July. By the time, the Eminen diss is climbing the chart in its pursuit for #1. It would be her 19th. I’m so excited for Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel.

Video: “My Love” by The-Dream & Mariah Carey

1

Who knew that Mariah can do the proletariat so well. And a bad hair day, too. This song has the potential to be #1 in the US and in the US only. It sounds good, her vocals are impeccable and radio is just going to eat it up. Also, I heard that it would count as a #1 for her and not just The-Dream. So, yay.

Lily Allen is a “Fag Hag”

It’s Not Me, It’s You is on the review stand. The album’s not bad at all and it follows in suit of Alright, Still. The songs are fresh and cockney-accented, even if she is posh. This track is a b-side that maybe on some of the album editions across the world. I think it should have been a single not just because of the subject matter, but also because’s it’s a banging morning song with a wandering chorus.

Thom Yorke quirky, Lily Allen unimpressed…

Lily Allen always has something to say. In Rainbows was a breakthrough project, and Radiohead were not trying to set precedents for other artists, they were just fighting the machine that fattened them for years only to dig their teeth in. The artist should pick the price on their music, not the record companies’ agreed fixed rate.

Alesha Dixon’s album leaked…

Alesha Dixon of Mis-Teeq fame’s second album just leaked and that sucks for her, because she needs to prove herself and that will hinder the sales. However, I hear its really good. The Alesha Show was supposed to be her comeback album and her first chance at solo success.  Her first album did very badly and only made it in Japan. I look forward to hearing it.
