One of of favorite new artists Betty Who has released a new EP. It is a short but excellent collection of 4 songs, including her sexy 80s-inspired anthem “Somebody Loves You”. The album and its production are so impeccable its hard to believe that it comes from an unsigned artist. Lets hope a full length album isn’t too far away. You can download the full EP for free here.

There’s a lot of things that can kill a man, there’s a lot of ways to die, yes and some already dead and walk beside me. There’s a lot of things I don’t understand, why so many people lie, it’s the hurt I hide that fuels the fire inside me.” – Ray Lamontagne, “Empty”

Most Embarrassing Moment: when I yelled that I had a UTI at my roommates from the bathroom and they had maybe twenty people over to our house in the living room.

Truly a fantastic song/video. Although she is getting heavily compared to La Roux & Elle Goulding, I think she sounds a lot similar to Margaret Berger. Hopefully 2013 will bring a lot more of Kelly Sweet and Betty Who.
