Finally, something new from the lush Bic Runga. We didn’t expect this to be a single as we favor “If You Really Do,” but something tells us that is next in line. Bic Runga’s album Belle is growing to be one of the best recent releases. Give it a spin.

Sexy Track: “If You Really Do” by Bic Runga
Leave it to Bic Runga to come up with a simply-constructed little ditty, attach thoughtful lyrics to it and also make it have one of the most memorable choruses of the season. This number is simple in structure but rich is style. “If Your Really Do” is a beautiful lullaby that speaks of yearning and love. It manages to embody everything essential about creating an effective and well-written song organically. Bic Runga’s only new album in six years, Belle, is short and sweet, but it manages to pack the punch with the catchy tunes like this delightful track.

Bic Runga talks about not being prolific, pulling teeth and perfectionism!
1Bic Runga on Mick Jagger, bikinis and “Belle”
1Good to know that Bic Runga has a great sense of history judging from this test she took, but what’s also great is her single “Hello, Hello,” which will bring out the jolly cheer in you very fast on this sullen winter. Also, her album Belle is not to be missed.
Video Premiere: “Hello Hello” by Bic Runga
2The stupendous Bic Runga is back after a long break from the music industry with this cute, yet loud number. She’s gone all rock on this one, but we hope it’s just the buzzy first single as we love the mellow Runga on “I’m Leaving” and “Say After Me.” At any rate, the new album will be out soon and its called Belle.
