Christina Aguilera cancels tour following leak of album

As if the catastrophic premature album leak of her fourth full-length album Bionic wasn’t enough, Christina Aguilera just announced that her long awaited solo World Tour has been cancelled. Not postponed for a couple of months, but tentatively considered for 2011. Wow, this is building up to be a horrible day for Christina Aguilera and her camp. All that’s left now is for her film Burlesque to be turned into a straight-to-video release.

Yes, Christina Aguilera’s highly-anticipated and eagerly-awaited and much-hated fourth album Bionic has leaked in its full format. This comes two weeks before it’s official release. The album is all over the internet and everyone is talking about it, so much so that it is a trending topic on twitter and it’s unavoidable if you are a music blogger trying to do some schoolwork! So, we took a break to report this. We already have a comment that says it’s the “album of the century” or something to that degree. Of course coming from Xtina-heads. We’re not too sure as both “Not Myself Tonight” and the collaboration with Nicki Minaj “Woohoo” are utter bullshit – and these are the singles! But, whatevs, we’ll give it a spin or two. This leaked track is a new one off of Bionic and it has SiA written all over it. It’s written by SiA, but it really sounds like a track off of the Some People Have Real Problems sessions. It’s very good and this just raised our hope up for Christina’s new album. Lovely. Click below to listen to it.

7Christina Aguilera really needs to step off her high horse and start giving interviews that are no self-righteous and, as a result, blazé. The new single is neither here of there. She’s heading in all the wrong directions. She comes back now on her fourth album after she had bashed the biggest star of the moment – Lady Gaga – and thinks she can win over people the way she did previously. It’s just a sad day to see such a talent drown in her own glory. The only chance we are going to give her pertains to the quality of her album, Bionic.

If you look closely at the new sleeve of Christina Aguilera’s new album Bionic, you will realize that the mechanical side of her face has some hidden words in it. They are the names of people close to her. There’s a “Max” for her son, “Jordan” for her husband, “Mom” for her mother. Also, the graphic designer managed to cram in his fame to “D-Face.” But, there are two other names that are cryptic – “Olivia” and “Eve.” What’s her sister’s name? Can you spot them? Finally, some actual big news from the Christina Aguilera camp. This, my friends, is the album cover for Xtina’s new album Bionic. It’s quite an image, if you ask us. She looks both vulnerable and robotic. But, as always, the typeface is just a hot mess and a half. Why is it dripping and why that font? Horrid! But, the image (if the black frame is not there) is very nice and well put together. Can’t wait to download the whole thing and listen to the collaborations. The video will be out sometimes by the end of the month. Yay!

Chrisina Aguilera really has some nerve. After an unapologetic hiatus and a myriad of album delays from one of the least prolific artists of our time, we get, post much-hyped countdown on official site, the artwork of her first single. It looks like a promotional poster for the movie Sin City and there isn’t even a snippet to accompany it. If you are going to go all out and create a countdown for a buzz, they least you could do is ready up some music. Well, at least now we know that the first single is not “Glam.” Now, we have to wait another day for some other “big news” Let’s see how big this’ll be, maybe they’ll announce a remix.

Christina Aguilera’s website has relaunched with a new theme in time for the release of her album Bionic. This above image appears along with a countdown for some big news coming our way from the Xtina camp. They ask you to sign up for updates. The big news is probably going to be a snippet of the new song. At any rate, the 23rd of March should bring in the news that everyone has been waiting from Christina who has released only 3 full-length albums in her more than a decade old career.
