Susan Boyle is very much hated over here because she stopped Alicia Keys from having her 5th #1 album. So, we don’t care much for her, but being on top for her is not enough she has to get some more publicity be going on Glee. boo.

Some bad news we have for you this Christmas eve. Alicia Keys’ streak of top spot albums has been broken by none other then Susan Boyle’s album of covers. Yes, one of the fads of the decade stopped one of the greatest of the decade from getting her top spot. Seriously, who goes out in hopes of getting a copy of a Susan Boyle record. We didn’t think she was that good and it only got so much hype because unexpected of her to nail a song. The sensation is really the people’s making. The Element of Freedom will go down in history, what does Boyle have to offer?

Susan Boyle is rushing her first album and what a quicker way to do it that to release a cover version album. I Dreamed A Dream is her debut album and it contains a cover of Madonna’s classic “You’ll See” (Yes, this is probably one of the only times you will hear me praise biceps). It should shift a couple of units, but it will make her sophomore much harder to sell. As people like covers but her common glory will fade out.

Movie: Slumdog Millionaire स्लमडॉग मिलिनेयर (2008)

With all the hype surrounding it and the fact that M.I.A. is heavily featured on the soundtrack, I had to check the movie out from the same director that gave us Trainspotting, 28 Days Later and Millions.
The movie is a slice of freshness from a perspective rarely voiced in mainstream cinema. This 15 million dollar budgeted flick follows Jamal Malik’s entire young life while splicing How Wants To Be A Millionaire questions between events.
The plot takes turns and twists as he becomes a young man of courage and independence. The character is belittled by everyone for being a menial chaiwalla, he proves himself through poverty, betrayal, corruption, the mafia, being orphaned at an early age and jumping in a pool of shit just to get Amitabh Bachchan’s autograph.
