We never really got into her and we thought her album was a bit unpolished, to tell you the truth. But this is worth a mention.

Anna Calvi, one of the artists we told to look out for in 2011, is ready to bestow upon us some serious melodies. Her debut album has made it onto the internet and it is sounding not too far away from the cover of “Jezebel” that made us fall in love with her. It sounds like early PJ Harvey without the extra noise. Lovely little album that’s made to put you in a winter mood, too bad we are headed to South America real soon.
