She’s looking spectacular. We think she should have done another song from the album, but this is a nice treat. Let’s hope her new album is in the works and the rumored hiatus is a hoax.

Lady GaGa gives tribute to Alexandar McQueen at Brit Awards

Lady GaGa has allegedly been very fussy about her appearance on the Brit Awards that the organizers are fed up with her and replaced her 9-minute time slot with Cheryl Cole with a smaller timeframe. As if that is not enough, GaGa allegedly got a Rolls Royce for her performance of “Poker Face” which would segue to “Telephone,” but now has opted for a more toned down performance after Alexander McQueen’s death, whom she was a great fan of. She is now rumored to perform a sad stripped-down version of “Bad Romance.”

This is an old picture but we love what they did with it. They zoomed in, added the light lines and did a really good job with the typeface and fonts. Lovely cover and probably works with the music. Lights comes out March 1st, 2010.

Ellie Goulding wins a Brit Award
We introduced Ellie Goulding back in July and then featured her music on compilations and on here. Well, she has gone and won the Brit award that is designed to propel lesser known new artists to great heights. This is the third year this award has been presented and previous winners are Florence + The Machine and Adele, so you know what kind of impact this has. We like her songs “Gun + Horses,” “Under The Sheets” and especially “Starry Eyed.” No word yet on when her album will debut. But, you can check her official page or MySpace profile.

Britney Spears puts “For The Record” on DVD
The documentary that served the purpose of explaining to the world why Britney was so crazy but played like a bonus feature on one of her concert DVDs is slated for an April 7th release. It will also include a bunch of remixes of “Womanizer” and “Circus,” just in time to fill the merchandise booths at her concerts.
