Chair made of multi-colored straws
4Just how exquisite is this? It’s called the “clutch chair” and it is made entirely of straws. It contains about 10,000 straws in different colors. The designer behind it is Scott Jarvie. Here’s what he had to say about it: “Made from 10,000 drinking straws, the Clutch Chair is an exploratory research piece that passes comment on our disposable culture. The development process of this piece also informed that of the Clutch Light, both of which were developed from an observation of the structural characteristics of trees.”

The peacock chair has been invented
Some fresh designer by the name of Dror Benshetrit has decided to ditch conventional materials and start using felt as a replacement to cotton or whatever your sofa has in it. The result is this – the peacock chair. A chair invented to comfort and to dazzle. And if you get it early, it could be a conversational piece, too. It molds and shifts to fit your contours while still looking like the modern masterpiece that it is.
