This is not Christina Aguilera’s year. Not only are videos about her attitude problem going viral online and her album tanked majorly, but her big screen debut is being torn apart after the release of several versions of the trailer and snippets of the film. The comments on the trailer and around blog mostly all negative. We personally think her acting is horrible in the 2 snippets and trailer we have seen. On top of all of that, there is another film named Burlesque coming out at the same time.

As if the catastrophic premature album leak of her fourth full-length album Bionic wasn’t enough, Christina Aguilera just announced that her long awaited solo World Tour has been cancelled. Not postponed for a couple of months, but tentatively considered for 2011. Wow, this is building up to be a horrible day for Christina Aguilera and her camp. All that’s left now is for her film Burlesque to be turned into a straight-to-video release.

Bionic, Christina Aguilera’s fourth full-length studio album of original material, was slated for a first quater release in 2010. Now, it’s in the beginning of the second quarter to make room for Xtina to put the finishing touches to her movie Burlesque with Cher. The movie looks promising, but the album sounds like it could be the opener of the decade for pop music. Let’s hope there are no delays and the single surfaces real soon with a well-made video.

According to Tricky Stewart, Christina Aguilera’s new album is already done and is getting mixed right now. Tricky said “The album is finished. She’s mixing. She hasn’t made a final decision about what the first single is, but I know everyone feels good about their options.”
There’s a track on there that M.I.A. worked on with Flo Rida. Christina wants to release this album before she has to work on Burlesque her movie co-starring Cher! Good news.
