New Nelly Furtado track “Girlfriend In This City” has leaked!
Nelly Furtado is back to doing some English songs after a stint at Spanish music with Mi Plan. This new song is so good that it almost makes us forget that Nelly Furtado sold her soul to the devil for Loose. It’s upbeat yet yearning. It’s a very well-arranged song. We hope it’s a single from her next album, which will be titled Lifestyle and will drop on May 25th, 2010. Click below to listen to it.

The band that has Burj Al-Arab on it’s current album sleeve has release another single after the skyrocketing success of the previous. “Fireflies” was not our cup of tea, it’s too college-rock for us and verges on Len territory. But, this track is worth a mention. Check it out.

1Seriously, Cheryl Cole just put Madonna in third place and Jennifer Lopez in 2nd place of the worst voices in pop history. She tops the list now and she can’t even pull of “Fireflies.” We’d boo her at karaoke. We wonder how much studio work has gone into her voice to release the album 3 Words. Just horrid!

Social City is a new kind of level-up game. In this Facebook application, you are the mayor or some grass and you have to turn into a swinging metropolis. You have to also expand the population by both building accommodation and creating leisure places (a things some corners of the world haven’t figured out yet). The application is very addictive and time-consuming. Caution is advised! Click to add it.

Santigold readies up next album
Santigold (formerly Santogold but changed it to avoid being mistaken for someone irrelevant) is back. She is doing a bunch of gigs here and there and was last spotted (above) in New York City playing live. She’s working and collaborating with other others a lot including Nas and Christina Aguilera. But, now she has some new material to show and we can’t wait for it!

The movie is slated for a May 2010 release and the anticipation is building up, but what is left to tell of the story is still up for debate. She got married and all, so what’s next? The poster is stellar though and Sarah Jessica Parker looks unlike Sarah Jessica Parker, so that’s good.

Manhattan buses have been plastered with these ads everywhere. They are brought on by the Coalition Of Reason and set to bring the facts to center-stage. New York, being a metropolitan forward-thinking city, has a high concentration of Atheists, Agnostics, Rationalists and Non-believers. Therefore, this ad campaign serves to bring light to that fact. Move over Cher, Elton John, Bette Midler, Celine Dion and Toni Braxton, Kylie Minogue has just been offered a Las Vegas residency for her tour and she’s taking it happily. The North American tour has been going so well that it has caught the eye of the bigwigs over in Nevada. According to her sister Dannii, Kylie will finish her tour and then head for a series of shows in the Silver State.
Dannii tells the Daily Mirror newspaper, “The response from her shows in America have been phenomenal. They love her out there. She was nervous about going over for the first time, but it has gone better than she expected.
