Exclusive: Music For September: Desolatia

desolatiaAfter overdosing on a bunch of uptempo and celebratory compilations, we cocooned into a corner we are very fond of. However, this time around the tracks are not just sombre, but downright depressing. This is probably the saddest mix of songs we have ever compiled. Summer’s over, all back to the regular and its time to recollect and reassess. We know that most of you aren’t into this specific sound, but we are very much leaning towards these sounds now that we have spent all Summer jumping around. So, tell us what you think…

Exclusive: Music For July: Kiwiwi

July is the month we were born. Naturally, we are going to opt for some beats that suit our mindset at this moment. What we are always into is some succulent R&B and Soul. This, my dears, is just what my heart beats to – very smooth songs of serenade making you croon your way through this month. Although we usually go for a more poppy sound this time of year, we diverged a little because it’s our birthday! Who’s gon’ check us, boo? Tell us what you think.

Along with Summer comes unapologetic dance-pop. Since “A little party never hurt nobody,” this compilation is set to make you dance until your tan peels off. Yes, it’s another one of those pop-charged mixes that we do in order to lighten up the mood every now and then and also introduce to some new artists. It’s fun and it’s not trying to be anything else. Get your tans on and your skimpiest swimwear and indulge in this tarty offering!

Again: Music For December: Balsamaceous

It’s the end of the year and its time for the closing tracks. This is not an encore, just the same old mixture of tracks we have been listening to the previous month. You know the little bit with somber swaying is our part, but it also contains some big pop numbers of the radio ilk. The name Balsamaceous is a real word for a change that caught our eye a couple of days ago and stuck. It’s so apt for the closing of this wishy washy year. So, nothing new here, just the best thrown on a file. Tell us if you likes these ones better than those compilations that come with the concept.

Again: Music For November: Emptina

The time has come for you to dance a little, sway a little and swoon a little. Yes, it’s another on of those hodgepodge mixes. You know, the ones that are a muddle of everything good we are listening to right now clumped unto one compilation without making sense. You take what you like and you leave what you don’t . There are some solid gems on here, though. It requires some rummaging, but its on the light side. It won’t take you long to fall in love with this one. A chunk of pop, some R&B, a tinge of rock and then everything that falls in between. We hope you like it.
